Client: MOTHRBORD Records
Job: Abstract visual alchemy
Skills: 3d design
MTHRBORD Records invited me to create visuals for an ambient set by Conphaera as part of “Enter the Void 2.0,” a three-day streaming music festival. This project marked a significant milestone for me, as it was the first festival set I’ve produced without relying on any stock footage or pre-existing assets. Instead, I crafted entirely original content, utilizing 3D animation created in Blender. These animations were then rescanned off a CRT monitor, capturing the unique analog textures and phosphor glow that only this technique can provide.
To promote the event across various platforms, I also produced promotional materials in both 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios. These formats were designed to optimize visuals for different social media channels, ensuring a compelling presentation that aligned with the festival’s underground aesthetic. This project not only challenged me to innovate and push the boundaries of my creative capabilities but also allowed me to explore new techniques and storytelling methods, enriching the overall experience for viewers.
A segment from this project, titled “Light Body Mathematics,” was featured at Cuerpo Transparente, a festival celebrating experimental film at theĀ at National University of Arts Faculty of Art Critics in Buenos Aires. The piece uses 3D animation and CRT rescannning to visualize a world of dreams beyond the frame of the physical body.
